VMware is one of the largest companies producing different kinds of software and products for virtualization. The VMware Player is one of its efforts. The VMware player can install and run multiple operating systems simultaneously on their host computers while providing a user-friendly interface that enables the user to freely use any operating system. For example, a user could create a virtual machine with a Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows 2008 Server and then use Google Chrome with Windows 7, or create an activity directory within the Windows 2008 server. The VMware Player can also be used to run a virtual machine/copy of any older computer so that older data can be retrieved or analyzed for a current scenario. VMware Player also provides extra security and safety for all kinds of third-party software applications as well as the ability to install different kinds of operating systems without having to reboot the physical host computer.
